Lawrence Street Healthcare Center offers short-term or long-term options to help your loved one recovery as quickly as possible so they can return home and to their day-to-day life. We offer inpatient and outpatient therapy and rehabilitation services to all families.
Following surgery, or injury or illness, our staff provides skilled nursing services, and therapy and rehabilitation your loved one needs. There are a number of reasons you may need our care including stroke, broken bone, or surgery—our facility Cleveland Health Care Center, provides individuals with the 24 hour support they need to allow for a faster and improved long term recovery.
We understand that the aging process or illness can strip independence away from our residents and we strive to help our residents live as independently as possible while maintaining their security and safety. We ensure that our residents remain active in their day to day life and ensure that they are involved as much as possible in their care plan.
Each resident is given the privacy of their own space to call home with tons of extra space for them to relax and enjoy themselves in. There are additional services available at the facility such as housekeeping, laundry services, transportation, a pharmacy, and more.
Lawrence Street Healthcare Center offers a comprehensive range of treatments to aid in the healing of chronic wounds caused by diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, radiation injuries, venous insufficiency and other conditions. We provide full-service care to treat patients with emergency and chronic wounds resulting from various health conditions.
Lawrence Street Healthcare Center provides professional counseling by clinical psychologists who offer supervision. We provide clinic services and perform assessments and/or clinical services for individuals who may exhibit symptoms needing psychological services.
The goal of our quality of life programs is to enrich the experiences that our residents have while at Lawrence Street Health Care Center. Quality of life program begins with learning a detailed life history of our residents as they are integrated into our community.
Therapeutic activities and our rehabilitation department collaborate to create activity experiences that enhance the residents’ quality of life and rehabilitation outcomes. The goal is to speed the resident’s recovery and increase the chances that they’ll return home with greater independence.
Providing home care is a team effort from professionals, paraprofessionals, patients, and families. Our goal is to promote the physical and emotional well-being of our clients by preserving their rights and independence. Our staff will assist with basic personal care tasks that are often referred to as Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
Our occupational therapy programs are designed to make the activities of daily living easier and more comfortable for each patient. We work with patients to varying degrees to make sure they are equipped for everyday life whether they are recovering from a stroke or injury, need assistance managing chronic pain, or living with a developmental disability.
Our physical therapy programs are tailored to each patient to regain strength, improve mobility, manage pain, or adapt to a disability. A physical therapist will work with you one-on-one to boost your motivation and help you regain confidence in day-to-day actions.
Speech therapy is provided on site to assist with cognitive training, expressive language, receptive language, swallowing, eating skills, voice training, speech, alternative communication systems, and memory strategies training.
At Lawrence Street Healthcare Center, our registered Respiratory Therapists will assist in managing all respiratory related treatments and education needed to improve the resident condition and facilitate a return to home.
We understand that proper nutrition is vital to the recovery and healing process. Our Medical Nutritional therapy services work with each patient to ensure that their dietary needs are being met with quality, nutritious, great tasting food.
We have registered dietitians on staff that provide customized recommendations and interventions based on current evidence-based practices-- these practices are coordinated with the nursing and medical staff to ensure that high-quality care is being given to each and every patient.
